Yes. I had a Musical Fidelity integrated amp collecting dust and decided to hook it up to my home office computer setup. I spent $200 on some good magnetically shielded Polk audio monitors and I was in business.I also find that there are new uses for old computer equipment. If you have a computer that's 5 or 6 years old sitting in a closet somewhere, you can easily setup a low resource linux system and use that to store your music remotely. Just hook it up to the router and share the music folder. Instant home-brew Network Storage on the cheap!
