The short distance doesn't concern me, I'm suprised they get a full USB 2.0 rate even to 30 feet, but I can't find anywhere that actually says it will do isochronous. You read things like "compatible with almost any USB device" but doesn't specifically say audio devices. I saw mp3 and ipod mentioned but I don't know if that is the same as a USB DAC.
