DOn't know if it is new info per say, but I was using the Itunes pass through to great effect, until I up graded to .9. I don't think the pass through was re done for .9. THat was on iTunes 6. NOt sure what happens on 7 or higher as I have no need to find out.YOu might try installing something like foobar .83
