There seems to be some weird interaction between the WMA input plug in and otachan's ASIO plug in on the latest versions of both (WinAmp 5.32 and otachan's ASIO plugin 0.67(dll)/0.70(exe).Basically it truncates the last second or so of each file preventing gapless output. The amount of time truncated depends on the ASIO buffer settings.
I can get gapless playback with otachan's MP3 plug in and also CD playback. I can also get gapless playback with WinAmp's DirectSound plug in and also Steve Monk's kernel streaming plug in (but with high buffer settings for both).
Obviously something is broken somewhere. I think one of the problems is that the latest version of WinAmp takes a while to switch between tracks and this is partly responsible for high buffer settings required, but truncation at the end is a worry.
Anyway, I've switched to using the kernel streaming output plug in for now. Sound quality seems very similar to the ASIO plug in so I might just leave it like this.
