Very, very impressive. Mercman's system is highly resolving and the Crimson revealed an amazing amount of information... but with absolutely no etch or edginess. Musicality was through the roof... we were all drawn in no matter what was playing. On the hifi side, the soundstage was well rendered... spacious and wonderfully layered. Bass control was world-class and dynamics were breathtaking.Apologies if I come off sounding like a sock-puppet reviewer trying to be "pc". But the this dac really is that good!
