The only way I've found to kill it is to hook up the USB cable and hit the sync button. I'll have to try the find button. Fortunately for me the only thing I use it for is iTunes so its not a big deal.What irritates me is that the Palm times out and disconnects from wifi. I can't figure out to make it stay connected. Not huge since it reconnects quickly but I would rather it stayed connected.
