The easiest way to do this is probably the AirPort Express (has Toslink output a well as analog outs) or the Sonus. AE can be found on the apple.com wesite and Sonus is here:http://www.sonos.com/products/zoneplayers/zp80/features.htm#sec1
Do not expect any of these stock solutions to match the quality of a good CD transport. With the right mods they can though.
