I use a battery power supply from Red Wine Audio, and there is clear improvement over the stock wall-wart. Blacker backround, more refined highs, better imaging, overall more natural and organic sounding . . . I could go on and on.Unfortunately, Vinnie at RWA is no longer modding Squeezeboxes. His mods are a great product and I feel fortunate to have aquired one.
