Re: Questions about this setup

Hey Dawnrazor:

Behringer makes some super-clean super-cheap little mixers that have built in phantom power for their ECM8000 mic (or any mic requiring phantom power).

I have the Behringer Eurorack UB802 which was about $70 CAN, and there is new Behringer Xenyx 502 which is a bit cheaper yet.

For the money, you can't go wrong.

I've been saving for a house too. Every time I save another $1000 for the downpayment, the houses go up $10,000. That's one mistake I've made in the game of life - waiting to get into the housing market. Then again, if I DID buy a house, I sometimes wonder WHICH ex would be living in it right now...

Nope - I'm glad I never bought a house. :o) There are way too many good little "house keepers" around here! :P

As my divorced buddy always says... "Next time around I am not going to get married - I'm just going find a woman that I hate and buy her a house!"

Yeah. Equality at its finest. Division of property at a divorce hearing is where equality quickly gets replaced with reality.

Get the mixer man. Life is short. You know you have to do the impulse file for the convolver plug-in, just as I know I have to do it too. It's simply in our blood.

Cheers,

Presto
