Jim has a great product. I'm using it with a homebrew DAC.(Crystal receiver, AD1890, Supponix(?) filter,BB63 DACs and Borbely all FET I/V converter).I think there is a difference between the HAGUSB and the U24. It is my understanding that the U24 re-samples to a user selected sampling rate whereas the HAGUSB passes the signal that is generated by the user's laptop.
This may only be a problem if your DAC requires a clean (small uncertainty or error relative to sampling rate) signal.
