Hello all,I recently bought a Graaf GM-20 OTL amp. It sounds fantastic so far. I am still waiting for my BAT pre-amp, that would "finalize" my system.
My question regards the bias settings for the tubes (6C33C). The distibutor has a kind of service to bias the amp for you for free, only the power tubes are quite expensive at 100 dollar each.
So I ordered the tubes (6C33C-B) myself in Russia at 10 dollar. Does anyone have the instructions to bias this amp myself? My questions are:
- Is it absolutely necessery to match the power tubes, or can they be biassed per tube?
- What is the bias current
- are there other point that I have take notice off? Thanks in advance,
Ed
