You are talking about some pretty fancy, high-priced gear there. Therefore, I would be surprised if any of us who also may own an MP1 or MP3 has also had extensive experience with those alternatives. So, don't be surprised if you get no response. You probably could not go wrong with any of the units you mention, but your post points out what a stone cold bargain the Atma-sphere preamps really are. The MP1 costs less than most if not all of the alternatives you mention, and you get a linestage for free along with the phono capability.
