Hello,

If I understand you correctly, that sounds like the series resistors from the input XLR to the tube grids. This discussion was concerning loading the inputs across pins 2 and 3 of the XLR connector (or in the cable). I settled on 1.5K across these pins, Bryan, if I remember, decided on 2K. Ralph suggested starting at 5K and working down to 1.2K and see what sounds best.
