RE: how my otl day went today

'Finished' the rebuild, which I think went very nicely. When I was powering up using a variac, it turns out the transformer has troubles. Found a quality rebuilder, and should have it back in a month or two. Looking the same, but with brand new windings. Apparently they take it apart carefully, note everything during that process, and put it back as it was. Should be interesting..
