As in ...Input ( LINE IN ) connection from Amp to PC ( I had to attenuate mine so it didnt overload the input , otherwise the soundcard returns apparent clipping , when infact , I proved this was only overloading at the PC input . ( passthrough cable ? )

Also , did you use a standalone tone generator for input to amp ? as in a proper signal audio generator , I didnt have one of those here eith at present . Ive always used the PC with soudcard output to generate the frequencies . ( I know this is a bad idea , but when you dont have , you make do with what you have got at hand . )
