One of the reasons for looking at the Zu's is my desire to reduce the number of 6AS7's on duty.

Presently, I am driving Silverline Sonata I with 2 6AS7s per M60, using Paul Speltz's autoformers at 2x

It sounds quite good to my aging ears, and it my room, it eliminates the heat issue. The Sonatas are 93db at a flat 8 ohm. But, I am curious enough to look at a higher efficiency speaker.
