Berning 270 - is to prone to ageing, how's about the older units?

I am wondering if it is advisable to go for 10 years old ZH 270 with no mods done.

What would be there do be done first with it and if there are any parts that are prone to ageing?

Also sonic-wise, 270 from 1997 and 270 from 2007, how they would relate?

Last but not least, what is the realistic price to pay for a '97 vintage 270?
