I thought it was pretty unusual that my OTL amp can use 6SN7s both as inputs or inputs; the same with the 5687; and over-all, the inputs tubes and output tubes it CAN use are all double triodes (although not necessarily the same).Why is this so? Does it hold true for all OTL amps?
Now, you can tell: I don't know anything about OTL amps. (Oh yes, mine sounds really lovely). So be gentle, please.
