My MP-1 MkII has all Atma teflon coupling caps in the LS and RIAA network of the phono stage, but four Atma/REL .47uf RT Styrene coupling caps at the output of the phono section. I'm weighing whether to try replacing these four with Mundorf Silver/Oil or Silver/Gold, or go 5x up in price to V-Caps. If there is a consensus in the net forums, it seems that as a coupling cap the Silver/Gold has more refined treble than the Silver/Oil but less fullness & bass extension.Has anyone tried the Mundorfs as coupling caps, preferably in the MP-1? Would they be a meaningful upgrade from the stock REL styrene coupling caps? Do they come close to the level of V-Caps?
