Re: OTL's and Quads

Hi,

The atma's and Berning are different. The Berning having better, more "solid" bass in my system. The atma's , quite frankly, did not warrant me giving up on my hot-rodded Futterman.

The atma's chassis was an odd size, ran too hot and had too many tubes to worry about. The Berning weighs about 10lbs, auto biases (believe me a treat after living with the Futterman!)and has the option of a bit of feedback, something the electrostat panels like along with a volume control and two inputs.

I just think the Berning is a brilliant design and is more practical than the atmas ,for me, personally.

Having said all that I've been running a SET since the late summer, a Wyetech Topaz, and it too has its virtues on the Quads. Don't ask which I like better!
