SRPP OTL in Sound Practices issue 15

Hey Folks,
I did not get any response in DIY Tube, so I'll ask my question here.
Anybody tried the OTL in Sound Practices #15 ? The amp uses a SRPP output and gain stage.
The amp uses 5814 as the Voltage/Driver Section
and uses the 6C33B as the output stage.
Should I also assume that it is a good idea to burn only the heater in the 6C33B or 6C41 tubes for a few hours before I use them ?
