Hi Dave,
I am using the XLR outputs of a MP3 after spliting the XLR signal outputs into a Velodyne ULD15.
It works great !! If you have balanced inputs on your sub it is a piece of cake--just plug and play. You will need to split the output signal of the MP1 so you will have two balanced outs, other than that you are good to go.
