6AS7 "cooking" for A-S M-60

Hi all,
I remember reading a detailed set of instructions on how to "cook" brand new 6AS7s to prepare them for my Atma-Sphere M-60s.
I assume this means to run the heaters (yellow lights) of the 6AS7s prior to turn them fully on, but cannot find any reference in this board (I guess I read it on the now defunct ASOG board).
For how long the tubes should be left on? Any danger or problems that could arise? Is there anyone who can help me with this particular issue?
