Ralph/Atma-Sphere helped DIYers like yourself for 20 years. They offered kits, manuals, parts, and phone advice for many years.
They did stop selling kits several years ago, but I think you will find them friendly and helpful if you ask. They aren't hiding anything.What you will find is a reliable, great sounding OTL with a circuit that has evolved over 25 years. I think you will have a hard time finding another company that has been building OTL's for 25 years.
