Does anyone have a schematic showing the correct installation of the plate resistors? I have seen reference on this site to them being "in series with the plates", and Mark Gilmore's tube selection article indicates that the current through each resistor should be (ideally) equal. I wired mine in EXACTLY per the instructions I had from Atma-sphere when I bought the kit, and there is no chance that they will carry equal current. For example, at V8 the driver + is connected to P5, and the resistor at that pin carries all the plate current for the other 3 sections of V7 and V8 over to the solder post where the 4 resistors are connected. From ther it splits to the other sections - except that P2 of V7 is connected to P2 of V8. I have been running them like this for years and only questioned it today when I needed to replace a blown tube. Surely the correct setup is for the plate supply to go the solder post in a star connection out to the four plates via the resistors?
