I have 16 Ohm, unefficient electrostatic speakers: Quad ESL 57.This is my first amp producing so dynamic (lively) sound, that I heard before of dynamic loudspeakers only. Feeling using dynamic speakers together with the static's adventages. More or less of course: the Quads has limited bandwidth, which is a reasonable compromise for me on classical music.
But somehow it depends on the usage or bypass this nasty fuse.I used Jadis JA30 previously in the same configuration. It's operated fine, but missed the add-on dynamic feature of the OTL.
Though never tried it without fuse. :)
