Hello Tariq,The Verity Audio Parsifal I have listened to is the Encore version.
The LAMM amps are the one box L-1 and the poweramps are the L-1 I think, correct me if I am wrong with the type. What we encounter when listening to this particular combination is that indeed the headroom is not large.
The sound itself is exceptionally, I don't mind saying that I am very impressed by the LAMM's as an absolute Atma-Sphere convict. With higher volume's ( SPL ) there is indeed a narrow line in which you cannot push it further.
This is noticable when clipping and distortion is clearly audible.
If you don't push it beyond let's say 85 or around dB you will have a dream combination.
The guy who own's this combination is already concerning the purchase of the push-pull LAMM version which has 90 watt's ( I think )Should trade in a bit soundwise but will win for sure on other parameters..
The Combination Parsifal Encore with let's say an MP-1 combined with the MA-1 amps will absolutely be of the same world class level !
I do not have any doubt about that.I can imagine that you will not sell your Parsifal's.
Many systems come and go, but some will stand out and really move touch and inspire..........the Parsifal is one of those systems !
regards and keep the vinyl spinning .
