Al,I tried raising my Harmonic Tech Pro-9-Plus-Bi-wire cables about 3" using ceramic creme brulee cups as suggested in the cable forum. I did not notice any difference.
My better half told me my cheese had slipped off my cracker when she saw what I was doing. I told her it didn't hurt to try and that antenna lead wires are always suspended from the outside roof and walls with isolators.
My floor is bedrock, covered by a cement slab, covered by pad, covered by wall-to-wall carpet. The Harmonic Tech wires have considerable insulation and dialectric separators within. All of my interconnects are 1-meter HT Magic and are already off of the floor.
