The older M-50s have been used as guitar power amps in the past. They work quite nicely, with a robust, clean sound, and the overdrive sound is very sweet. Overall it seemed to be a nice contender. We've not entered the market yet as guitar palyers can be terribly conservative, and amps that do not have EL34s or 6550s can get a bit of discrimination. But times have changed and we are planning an entry in about two years.
