When I tried a harmonic technology AC-10 fantasy pc to power a high current ultimate outlet, the result was stunning. I then purchased 2 more to go from the UO to an S-30 amp and MP-3 preamp. With the amp, I again got a big improvement, but only a subtle difference on the preamp. I haven't tried any other power cords, but I am considering the ps audio lab cable since i need 1 more pc. I will post results if I get the lab cable. The AC-10s are @ $260-270 on the used market and are well shielded which is important to me. They are fairly stiff so they may not be suitable for every application.
