Although the 12BH7 is not a direct replacement for the 12AU7, it should still work in the MP-3's line-stage. You can expect a bit less gain. The 12BH7's somewhat lower Rp is of no advantage, since the MP-3's output is buffered by a 6SN7 circlotron.
