When discussing OTL amps in general, I was told to avoid the OTL design, as it possible, that a defect OTL amp can fry a loudspeaker completely.
Since I plan to buy the rather expensive Lumenwhite speakers, I am of course worried. If this is true, I could not buy such an amp, since who would pay for new speakers. And the new Lumenwhite are kind of expensive, as you might know.
So please, I would like to learn the truth. Is there anything substantial behind these claims?
