I arbitrarily chose 100 watts as a reference point. It really doesn't matter if it 1, 100 or 1000 watts. Power is still power. If you're trying to compare power outputs between the two product lines, the MA-1 is just under the VTM200 and the MA-2 is just over. Still, this isn't the whole story. An OTL's output power in this class, will drop a bit as the load impedance gets lower, but it will rise significantly into higher impedance. With the push-pull design, power will be relatively constant based on the target impedance of the output transformer secondary tap used. If the transformer coupled amp is presented with significantly higher or lower impedance that the tap rating, then the output power will drop off rapidly.
I hope this makes some sense.
