The TF020s are of LOWER wattage than the MK132s. I've used both types in my amplifiers, where appropriate. If more than 0.5W is required, I use Mills 2, 5, or 12W types. The TF020 is said by M Percy to be the creme de la creme, and I do believe they are quite transparent. I am undecided about the MK132; it may inject a teeny bit of "transistor"-like haze, but it may also be blameless. To ascribe a sonic character to a single component of a circuit, one must do a lot of exhausting experimentation with careful controls. I don't want to be bothered, as long as I am happy with the overall result. I put Vishay S102s on a par with the TF020 but with a slightly "smoother" top end coloration.
