I've tried the fancy Mallory computer grade 100 uF caps. I currently have them in my Novacron. I wish I could say they make a difference, but IMHO, they do not.I'm still of the opinion the all 6AS7G amps should be biased the same. Figure 75 mA per tube. The actual bias will be somewhat less, if the speaker is left connected when the bias is set. This accounts for the 550 mA vs. 600 mA setting on the M-60. I like to disconnect my speakers when setting bias, so I don't need to add the fudge factor.
