For some reason I decided to leave work early today and stop in to one of the 2nd hand shops here in Hong Kong. I am in the process of looking for an amp for my ProAc 3.8's.
When I went into the shop I looked around, then the one guy who could speak English asks me if there was anything in particular I was looking for---I asked if they had any VAC NOPE, Atma....yeah this one here---but I just sold it 25 minutes ago, we're getting ready to deliver it now.
I had never seen this model before---they were 140 watt mono's---kind of a semi circular look---is anyone familar with this model? They sold for only $2500---I was so pissed that I did not leave the office 40 minutes earlier cause I would have jumped on them even though I'm not familiar with the model
Do you think the 60's will drive the ProAc 3.8's?----I listen to a lot of rock, mellow rock (Dave Matthews-ish) some Jazz, Soul, and R&B---so I want to make sure I have the bottom pop as well as the milky mids and open hi's
