Not many people are making DIY AC regulators, and there are different types of regulators. Some use simple chokes and capacitors, some use isolation transformer, some converts AC to DC then back to AC. I am also interested in seeing those circuits.
One thing however, is that not all regulators are all-rounders: ie they may reduce background noise at the expense of energy output (less dynamical), watch out for any adverse effects before you make your decision.
