I think that for boogie-ability and good sonics too one of my favs is Ry Cooder's "Chicken Skin Music". Maybe not really R&R but "goo-ood" as Andy used to say! Haven't heard the Blind Faith re-issue but it ought to be good.Rolling Stones: Let It Bleed and Sticky Fingers are both up there on my list as are several F. Zappa(Most).Garland
