Hi,
I know that this path has been well trodden, but thank you for your advice. My dilemma is whether or not to buy Kiwame 2W for the whole amp,I can get a reasonable price for these in europe, or whether to buy Rhoderstein " Resistas" then splash out on the grid stoppers.I had considered precision wirewounds,0.1%,0.33W non-inductive as a safe choice,I can buy Vishay and NeoOhm.I am wary of Riken Ohm they look like cheap carbon films with pretty gold plated leads,Tantalum films have recieved every opinion imaginable and besides tantalum is just another metal. All in all,Resistas, caddock MM type and Vishay S102 seem to have received the most consistantly positive reviews.
Regards,John.
