Just a note to let all of you Atma-Sphere folks know that there's a very musical and cost effective, non-computer way to record to CD.
I've been using an HHd CDR830 for several days and I'm VERY impressed with it's overall ease of use and performance. Although the unit is quite susceptable to airborn vibration during playback/record, (which can be just about eliminated with a full bottle of liquid laundry detergent placed atop the unit) it really does make a faithfull recording from both LP and CD.
While not quite as "musical" and "full-at-the-bottom" as my CAL Delta, the CDR830 does produce some detail that the Delta now seems to lack. $560.00 from B&H, or try www.oade.com.
