I'm confused. A varistor is a two terminal device, used to suppress transients, and is usually installed in places like the terminal strip feeding your computer. Spectrol does not offer varistors. Now Spectrol does have an extensive line of precision pots, many of which won't even fit in our amplifiers. They have no temperature stability problems.
If you want to replace your stock pots, here's what I'd suggest. Call it a tip of the day. This solution is very inexpensive, it fits and is far superior to the original parts. They also now stock on all new Atma-Sphere amps.
I'm sure you must already know. Mouser distributes internationally.
Mouser is the source this time for a Spectrol 10 turn precision pot. They do come in 5K and 25K values. Here's what you need:25K - part number 594-43P253 ($1.38)
5K - part number 594-43P502 ($1.38)
panel mount adapter - part number 594-611 ($2.64)You'll need one panel mount adapter per pot so you can mount install each pot on your chassis.. These pots were originally designed to be circuit board mounted.
