IMHO, Atma-Sphere amps have all the sonic advantages of tubes and solid-state, but none of the disadvantages. An Atma-Sphere amp's bandwidth is far in excess of any transformer coupled amp and usually even better than the best of solid-state. The bass performance is as good as it gets, giving up nothing to solid-state. The midrange is smooth and extended rivaling and exceeding the detail found with the best conventional tube amplifier. Reliability is better than most any PP or SET amp too.
