You are measuring the residual DC offset voltage between the two phases of the circlotron output stage. Before I try to answer your questions, I have a few questions. What is the meter scale and resolution for "from 0 to about 1.20"? Offset voltage should be measured on your most sensitive voltage setting, usually 200 mV, not current setting. If you choose to measure bias current externally, then you'll be using a current range, usually 2 amps, with a DVM. How long are you allowing your amps to warm up before you check your offset? Does the problem transfer to the other amps if you trade V4 between the two amps? Have you measured the voltage across the 1 ohm plate resistors on the offending amp? Do any of these voltages seem to have a similar drift?
Please let me know what's happening and I'll do my best to help guide you towards a solution.
