I'm so confused...

What's a "non electrolytic choke"? A choke, as used on our power supplies, is a bunch of iron with a coil of wire around it. Electrolytic capacitors do exist. Their dielectric is an electrolyte.

Ripple is directly proportional to load current. The larger the load, the more the ripple.

Perhaps you can ask your question in another way and I'll do my best to answer it. If not, I'm sure someone else much more knowledgeable than myself will come to bat.
