I tried this combo for about a month. I never was completely happy with the sound, but this was probably due to some treble harshness due to a vey live room more than any amp/speaker problem. Ultimately I found the bass to just not be visceral enough, as well. But the main reason for getting rid of the Maggies was their discovery by my newly adopted pair of 3 month old kittens.
