Oh, that use of the name "George" was just a figure of speech. I could not possibly have BOTH misunderstood mr. tubeglow's attempt at humor AND your name (David), all in one e-mail; or perhaps I did. Anyway, I think I seized on the question of using 200-ft interconnects because that is precisely the length Ralph quoted to me when he was explaining the advantages of using an MP1 to drive the Atma amps in low-impedance (600-ohm) mode. He said that one could use interconnects even as long as 200 feet. I can't do this, however, unless I wanted to play music in my neighbor's house, but I have reduced anxiety about driving 24-foot cables as a result.
