I'm very lucky. Both of my tonearms have the same small DIN style connector that is found on SME arms. All four cartridge wires, and the tonearm/headshell ground, are brought out separately. Given this connector, all you need to do is wire it with some good, shielded, twisted pair.You may need to modify your Audioquest arm, to separate the two RCA connector grounds, or install a different connector replacing the RCA connectors.
The 600 ohm standard, used with XLR connectors in the professional world, requires good differential buffers that can deliver the desired voltage into the 600 ohm terminations at the other end of the interconnect cable. This will blow the unbuffered approach. Cable length isn't the first concern. Driving the 600 ohm termination is the first priority.
