Hi Paul,
Kurt Strain did this mod on a "stock" 6AS7 M60 which is detailed
under the articles section. So at least for the 6AS7's it works fine,
and I can attest that it sounds fine too! Kurt loaned me his amps for
a couple of weeks so I could compare with mine, and they compared
*very* favorably. Unfortunately I didn't have the output cap upgrade which
his did, but mentally discounting the difference in bass/drive his had
a smoother, cleaner sound. The sound was in greater focus, and more
tangible. A good one to try with the 6336's I think.-Dan
