Thanx Paul-- I have seen alot of caps across the AC switches of all types
of equipment. I have heard that the cap will help reduce unwanted garbage
on the AC line. This will keep from burning up your switches. I dont know
for sure but I do see them on alot of stereo gear. Also, I have another
question for you regarding your filament relay. I am using 12.6 volts rectified for my filaments so that I can use 12SX7s.I have regulated the
voltage down to about 12.3 with a resistor. I am not using a regulator. Based on this voltage what value parts would you use for your relay?
