My MP1 is with Ralph now for upgrade to MkII so my comparisons are based on pre-MkII listening but...I've compared it to BAT VK 3i and 5i, AI Mod 3A, Melos SHA gold and a few others in my system and I'm no longer in search of a preamp. MP1 is the end of the line for me.
